When you realise that you may need some care or support, you can approach us directly with your requirements or you may be referred to us by social services. 

Once you have contacted us we will send you our brochure, and information on what services we offer, or we can arrange an initial assessment with you, this is free of charge and will be carried out in your home with you.  Before providing any services we will need to talk with you as the person who is going to be receiving the service, social services may be present, or you can have a family member or a friend or any other representative of your choice. 

We will undertake a 'Care Needs Assessment' with you discussing your expressed needs and requirements, from this information we will form your individual 'Care & Support Plan'.  You will be fully consulted at all times, nothing will be done or changed unless you say so.  Your personal details will be treated in the strictest of confidence at all times.

If you, or someone that you are responsible for has been assessed as having a need for support that will be funded through social services, then you will be entitled to receive what is now termed as 'Direct Payments' , allowing you to take control of how the money is allocated to you is spent.  Care organisations like ours, are equipped to accept these Direct Payments and would be happy to work with you to establish the most effective way of looking after your own specific needs.
