Training for care work who work with people with dementia

Understanding Dementia Care Foundation ~ This one day course is aimed at all care and support staff who may work with people who have dementia. It teaches an understanding of what dementia means and ways to deliver good care practices, and most importantly build on the quality of care provided to people with dementia.  It promotes different ways of caring and working with people who have dementia.  

Understanding Dementia Care Advanced ~ The aim of this three day training course is to introduce the person centered approach to dementia to care workers working or who may work for the first time with people with dementia. The overriding objective is to encourage and enable staff to apply this approach to their day to day care practice.
